Born and raised in Salt Lake City Utah, Angela Gagliardi graduated with a BFA in Modern Dance from the University of Utah. She continued her education to receive a teaching certificate and has been teaching secondary dance at Cottonwood High School for 19 years. Angela has spent many years choreographing, performing, directing, adjudicating dance in Utah, California, and New York with companies such as Hawk and Sparrow Movement, Raw Moves, Repertory Dance Theatre, Samba Fogo, Ashley Anderson Dance, Just Wanna Dance, Masonography, and Dance Teacher Exchange. Angela received a Masters of Art in Dance from California State University Long Beach. She has a 500 hour Hatha Yoga certification and Meditation certificate from Aura Wellness Center. Angela is a Certified Personal Trainer and is trained in Pilates and Zumba. She was grateful to have been named the 2021 Dance Educator of the Year in Utah by the Utah Dance Education Organization, as well as the 2024 Dance Teacher of the Year by SHAPE-Utah. She also received a Single Mom Teacher of the Year award from Hey June, a local jewelry company. She has a sincere passion for dance, teaching, creating, mentoring, art, Yoga, and most importantly her two beautiful boys Nico and Frankie.
